Garden

Adjacent to the Palmer Museum of History and Art is the Mat-Valley Agricultural Showcase.  This garden contains a wide selection of flowers and vegetables which are a testament to the growing capabilities of Alaska's summer midnight sun.   The garden showcases an array of colors and textures that harks back to the simple days of childhood when all that was needed to pass the time was fresh air and a wild imagination.

The garden is open year-round and is free to the public.  In order to maintain the integrity of the garden we ask that no dogs or unaccompanied children enter.  The garden is for viewing purposes only. No picking or harvesting of the vegetables is allowed as they are donated to the residents of the Palmer Senior Center.
