Kids Explore: Geology ROCKS!

In this Sutton-based workshop, kids will learn about the rock cycle and how fossils and coal were formed. We’ll also have a hands-on activity where we make our own “fossils”. After our rock session, we will switch gears and take a short river stroll. Learn how rivers and glaciers shaped the Matanuska Valley. What does the landscape tell you about what was here before?
